Is it the TRUTH?

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

Will it build GOODWILL and
BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all
concerned?"
YLI Scholarships Awarded

The facilitators and students from across the metro that participated in the YLI class of 2005 were
honored guests at our regular Monday meeting on October 3rd.

Facilitators Ed O'Malley, Jr. and Susan Keim were recognized for their contribution to the
program, and watched proudly as YLI Chair Pat Callaway awarded scholarships to winners of the
Youth Leadership Institute "Four Way Test Essay Contest." A $500 scholarship went to third place
winner Kelsey Koczanowski, a $1500 scholarship to second place winner David Craig, and the top
prize of a $3000 scholarship went to Cailan O'Grady.

Kelsey and David attend Blue Valley Northwest and Cailan is a student at Shawnee Mission East.

Micaela Damas from Blue Valley North and Nathan Yaffe from Shawnee Mission East also
addressed the club about their experience with the YLI Program.
